I’m working through my library books that are due soon. Up early to get in some reading before work!
Reading; How to Run with a Naked Werewolf by Molly Harper
    A fun, light paranormal romance.

    • I have run across that book several times. How are you liking it so far?

      • Chelsea Talks

It is a light-hearted read. Fun and quick when I just want to be entertained and not mentally stimulated.

I’m trying to finish Sorcerer to the Crown by Zen Cho.

    • I never heard of it. What is it all about?

      • Tiffani

It’s fantasy in Regency England with diverse characters. Zacharias Wythe is the Sorcerer Royal, basically the head magician in England. There are plenty of people who are unhappy about that because Zacharias is a Black man. Aside from dealing with the politics of that, Zacharias has to figure out why England’s magic is drying up and also figure out what to do with Prunella Genteman, a woman of mixed ancestry with an incredible gift for magic. That she is so gifted with a magic is a problem because only men are encouraged to be magicians as it is felt that women are to frail and sensitive to handle such power. It was written by Zen Cho who is originally from Malaysia. I’ve been looking for more mysteries and fantasy with diverse characters and/or by non-white authors. This is one of the books I found that fit the bill.
