Welcome Author Terri D: Yesterday’s Lies

Yesterday LiesWhat Secrets Do You Keep From The One You Share Everything With? Secrets. Lies. Half-Truths. A poignant tale of a circle of close knit friends whose lives are more intertwined than they realize. That is until the blurred lines of Love, Lust and Friendship begins to reveal the half-truths and lies that exist. Will the secrets they all hold from the past ruin their friendship and lives forever?

From the Author

I have always kept journals and written short stories since I was young.  I often go back to them, and re read some of my entries.  When I re read my old journal entries it is like reading a story of my life.  My journals have themes and I start a new one or end an old one based on what I refer to as chapters in my life.  A few years ago, I was going through a difficult time in my life, I shared some of my journal entries with a close friend, and she encouraged me to consider writing a book.  It took me several years to act on the suggestion.  One summer night in 2010, I came up with the idea of creating a character that writes in a journal like me and telling most of the story through her journal entries.  Over the years as I have navigated through the trials and tribulations of life, I have used my journaling as a method of therapy.  My writing helps to express myself and allows me an outlet to voice my feelings about everyday events in private.

  • “Are You There God It’s Me, Margaret,” should be required reading for all adolescent girls. Actually, Judy Blume books in general. Sounds like an interesting book. Best wishes to you for much success with it and the next one.

I loved this book and the author is so very kind. Terri, I’m awaiting book 2 and the girls are screaming, lol

  • Another new author to me. I’m loving this week. Thanks for sharing.

  • I did not make it to your web-site because it said “page not found”. I will try again tomorrow. I love romance novels, and this book almost sounds like my best friend and me. However, we will never date! I look forward to this read.
