Ha! It would be nice to have a brain that procedural. My reading habits tend to be driven by the “ooh, shiny” mode of thinking. I read when something catches my eye. However if I really think about it, I’d have to say during the summer. Because that’s when all the television shows and sports disappear. Also over last few years, I’ve been so off on achieving my Goodreads Reading goal come December, I just shrug my shoulders, put down the books and wait for the New Year.

  • I read about the same amount (the book of the month), unless I have a reading challenge!!!

I tend to read more in the winter with a good cup of coffee and a blanket.

I tracked my reading for a number of years to see if I could see a pattern in my reading by month. While some months I do read more than others, there really wasn’t any particular pattern. And definitely not based on the seasons.
