I just finished “The Book Of Genesis Illustrated” by R. Crumb. I found it kind of dry, but instructive, I guess! Hard to see what most of these stories have to do with morals or religious thought and instruction. (I, personally, am not religious.)

I am almost finished with Anatomy of a Scandal.

OMG I never thought I would ever find another “Wheel Of Time” fan!!!!!! Is this your first time reading the series??? I’ve read all of them like 8 times.

      • jayneewins111

No, I’ve read them probably about 20 times. I went through a LONG period of time where nothing else kept my interest and I would get to the end and start over. I’ve had to repurchase the series 3 times from books falling apart.

I started reading Indie World stuff after breaking down and buying a Kindle but some bad things happened when I got involved with some people in that industry and I went back to Wheel of Time to cleanse my palate. (I hope that makes sense.)

So, that’s what I’m doing now…reading the series again.

        • Sharnise

That totally makes sense!! I think I do the same thing when I need a certain fix. Right now Wheel of Time and A Song of Ice and Fire does that for me.

        • Sharnise

Do you still find things that you may have forgotten or overlooked with each reread?

          • jayneewins111

Always! I just caught 3 new things in this book in the last couple of weeks!

            • Sharnise

Happens to me every time. What did you catch? I think it’s time for me to revisit The Wheel of Time.

              • jayneewins111

It was a really little thing. It is after Rand decides to face Rahvin and Egwene is headed to her room the night before. She recognized that Lews Therin was present this early and had talked about it with Moiraine but Moiraine wouldn’t discuss it with her. It’s maybe 2 sentences.

There were others but that was the most recent one.
