The best book I read was “The Paper Man” by Gallagher Lawson. I also enjoyed “Monkey Business” by Landon Crutcher. “Palestine” and “Footnotes In Gaza” by Joe Sacco were terrific, as were the two volumes that I read of “The Arab of the Future” by Riad Sattouf, mentioned in one of the above videos. I impatiently await the English translation of the third volume. I’m currently reading “Coinman” by Pawan Mishra. It’s self-published, but I think it’s incredible. The use of language, the delicacy of insight and wit are exacting and amazing. It may very well be one of the best books I’ve ever read.
